Christmas is just around the corner and Rocky View Schools has have something to get you in that holiday spirit.

On December 13, Bow Valley High is putting on their annual Christmas Concert at 7 P.M.

Rob Billington, Bow Valley High School, Music Teacher, says five different ensembles including both the junior and senior jazz and concert bands, as well as a small choir will fill the halls with festive music.

“Between the five groups we have a ton of great Christmas music, with a huge variety of everything from the totally unexpected cowboy western theme to favorites like Leroy Anderson’s famous piece called sleigh ride.”

In addition to the concert, there will be a bake sale, a raffle and a silent auction.

The school will also be accepting donations for the Food Bank at the door.
