The Cochrane job fair may have gone virtual, but it continues to offer great opportunities for both employers and job seekers.

Twenty-five employers are registered to participant in tomorrow's Cochrane virtual job fair, being presented by Prospect’s Rocky View and Wheatland Employment Services and Cochrane Business Development from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 27.

At this year’s event, job seekers and employers will be able to meet, discuss opportunities and even participate in interviews via Zoom instead of in a large facility like in past years.

Employers have their own virtual "room" where they can make presentations or meet applicants in small groups or one-on-one. Job seekers enter a virtual "lobby” where facilitators help them enter each employer’s space. They can interact, exchange information and find out how to apply specific openings.

Prospect Career Advisors will also be on hand to review resumes and run virtual employment workshops, just like they did in the past at in-person events.

The Cochrane Job Fair is open to job seekers of all ages with a wide variety of interests.
