Airdrie RCMP will be addressing last night's shooting at CrossIron Mills at 11 a.m. today.

Inspector Kimberley Pasloske will address the media and Discover Airdrie/Air 106.1 will be live streaming the press conference HERE.

The incident at Cross Iron Mills has been resolved. Our thanks to those people who have sheltered in place. Please follow police instructions as you exit. We believe that this was a targetted incident. There is no ongoing danger to the public.

At approximately 7:11 p.m., RCMP received a report of shots fired at the mall.

One male was injured and the suspect is still at large.

The mall was put under a 'Shelter in Place' while officers cleared the mall store by store.

RCMP advise the public to stay away from the area so that they can do their jobs safely.

Calgary Police say "the incident was NOT an active shooter and was believed to be a targeted attack. We do not believe there to be any further risk to public."
