Alberta Health Services provided a COVID-19 update for the span of Friday, July 23 to Sunday, July 25 totaling 387 new COVID-19 cases.

Friday added 151 new cases.

Saturday saw 142 new cases.

Sunday reported 94 new cases.

The 7-day average positivity rate is at 1.8 per cent.

Alberta has now jumped up to a total of 1,083 active cases, an increase of 407 since last Thursday.

Hospitalizations have dropped from 93 on Thursday to 83. ICU admissions have decreased by five to 21.

Two additional deaths were reported since Thursday bringing the total in the province to 2,322.

Over 5.2 million doses of vaccine have been administered. That breaks down to 75.4 per cent of the provincial population having received one shot while 63.4 per cent of Albertans are fully immunized.

Cochrane has added three cases for a total of five and Rocky View County added one case for a total of ten active COVID-19 cases.
