He rode "Angel Eyes" to an 86, good for a paycheque of $13,327.

He's riding Cracker Jack today in Round Nine.

Ponoka's Levi Simpson picked up his own cheque for $13,327 with his third-place finish in team roping.

Barrhead's Kolton Schmidt finished just outside the money in seventh spot in team roping.

And Donalda steer wrestler Curtis Cassidy was a disappointing 12th.

Meanwhile, Inglis, Manitoba bareback rider Orin Larsen tied for third on the night and is fifth on the average leaderboard. 

Today, he's riding Cactus Black in Round Nine.

Larsen a grandson to Dennis and Mayda Wearmouth, who live just outside of Cochrane.

The national finals wrap up this weekend.
