Whether the women's team from Alberta or Nova Scotia finishes on top of Pool B in the World Junior Qualifier will be known this afternoon.

The two undefeated teams in the pool meet at 1 p.m. MST today (Nov. 25) in their final game of the round-robin.

Last night, Alberta took an early 3-0 lead over Prince Edward Island but had fallen behind 4-3 by the sixth. They returned to the lead with a huge four-ender in the seventh, then stole two in the eighth. It ended 9-5.

Earlier in the day, they beat Ontario, 9-6.

Nova Scotia's Taylour Stevens rink has also gone through the round-robin undefeated, with some lopsided wins and a come-from-behind win against Ontario.

Alberta's Team Crough includes lead Julianna MacKenzie, of Cochrane.

The playoffs begin tomorrow.

The winning women's and men's teams will represent Canada at the 2022 World Junior Curling Championships in Sweden next March.
