In the past 24 hours, 71 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified across the province, bringing the total number of active cases in Alberta to 559.

Yesterday's numbers are the largest to be recorded since May 16, and just slightly higher than Saturday's update which saw an increase of 69 new cases.

Hospitalization rates continue to be low with 41 Albertans currently in hospital, nine of which are in intensive care units.

Rocky View County (RVC) currently has eight active cases of COVID-19, four of which are in the Cochrane -Springbank area. 

To date, RVC has had 37 COVID recoveries and there have been 17 in the Cochrane- Springbank area.

7,354 Albertans have now recovered from COVID-19  and sadly, the death toll has risen to 154.

COVID testing is available to all Albertans, whether or not they are displaying COVID-19 symptoms. 442,253 tests have been completed across the province.
