Alberta's male box lacrosse team lost their opening game of the preliminary round in the Canada Summer Games.

Nova Scotia got the best of them in a close 8-6 game.

This afternoon, they facing Ontario. Thursday, they match up against British Columbia in their final game of preliminaries.

Wyatt Viste, 15, of the Cochrane area, is a member of Team Alberta. He was a member of the U16 Rockyview Rage team that won the city championship earlier this summer. 

Now 6'1", he's played the sport since age four and was inspired to give it a try by his older brother.
