COVID-19 strikes another blow to the community.

Cochrane's beloved annual Pumpkin Lantern Festival will not be happening this year.

Organizers made the announcement on Facebook, saying "The Cochrane Pumpkin Lantern Festival will be taking a pause for the 2020 year as a result of the challenges related to Covid-19. We hope to see you all in 2021."

Every year hundreds of Cochranites spend an evening strolling through the Cochrane Ranche Historic Park, taking in all the sights and sounds of fall.

There was over 375 carved pumpkins to look at last year, and even though the weather was terrible, that didn't stop people from showing up.
