Parents received an update on Saturday, March 6, from Bow Valley High School that another case of COVID-19 had been reported at the school.

The single case had been reported on Saturday.

The school has been on the outbreak status list with Alberta Health Services since last week when the school reported more than two cases of the virus.

In the letter Principal, Jim Reilly said the school will remain open for in-class learning.

Additional cleaning will be completed before students return on Tuesday, March 9 as Monday is a Professional Learning Day and there are no classes.

The school is continuing to work closely with Alberta Health Services to ensure the necessary precautions are taken to protect students and staff.

The letter also reminds parents not to send their kids to school if they are unwell and to use the Alberta Health Daily Checklist before they leave home.
