The Town of Banff has flooded a downtown street, brought in a Zamboni and is opening it up to skaters today.

The town is only allowing a maximum of 20 people to skate on the rink at one time to help maintain social distancing, and you need to pre-register ahead of time to book your one-hour skating time slot.

This is such a cool idea. It's COVID safe & it has me wondering where and how we can do this here in Cochrane?

Maybe somewhere here in downtown Cochrane and we can all skate up to shop at our favourite local business? Or perhaps we can flood a section of the pathway so it can be like a canal system throughout Cochrane?

Where do you think this could work?
