Cochrane Crusher organizer Robert Marten is once again impressed with the incredible support from the business community for the 2nd annual gravel cycling event.

The gravel race and ride are being held on Aug. 20, offering both 50 km and 100 km courses.

Marten rattles off a list of great prizes and services that have been provided so far.

  • 3 factory-installed 4iiii power meters, of which one will be a registration prize;
  • A top-of-the-line Garmin Edge 1040 Solar as a registration prize;
  • 2 Edge 830; podium prizes for men’s and ladies’ categories of the 100k categories;
  • 2 Garmin Forerunner 265 M watches: podium prizes 50k race for men’s and ladies;
  • A raffle strictly for volunteers for a Forerunner 955 & 745 watch;
  • Free custom buff for the first 75 registrations, sponsored by Bike Bros in Cochrane; and
  • On-site mechanic provided by Big Hill Cycle.

Martens says more sponsors continue to step forward and additional prizes will be announced soon.
