The RCMP in Southern Alberta have issued a Canada wide warrant for 43 year old Patrick Globensky.

"He's a resident of Calgary and surrounding area," said Cpl. Curtis Peters, "Previously, he has resided in Cochrane. We're not too sure where he may be at this point though."

Globensky has been charged with ten criminal code offenses.

"He's wanted for a multitude of charges, the most recent being several possession of stolen property and theft charges. He's known to engage in a lot of thefts of stolen property and store them in different areas, sometimes with unsuspecting people."

The RCMP are hoping anyone who may have had contact with Globensky will come forward, as they may unwittingly be storing stolen property.

Globensky also has outstanding warrants for being unlawfully at large and assault causing bodily harm. RCMP say if you know his whereabouts, do not approach him but instead contact the nearest police detachment.

Peters says while Globensky has a history in the region, there's no reason to think he is in Airdrie or Cochrane.

"It's possible that he could be still in the area, we just don't have anything to suggest that he is that close. He's previously been involved in things in Eastern provinces as well, so it's possible he's already gone there."
