The Cochrane Pipe Band is hosting the 22nd annual Robbie Burns night later this month.

The event will be held at the Ranchehouse on Jan. 25 starting at 5:30 p.m.

Leslie Deans with the Cochrane Pipe Band says "It's our only fundraiser of the year. We have a silent auction, a dinner a dance. Our dance band this year is a well-known band called Fraid Knot."

She says "It starts out with the pipe band playing for the crowd. Then we'll have all of the traditional speeches and toasts that go along with the Robbie Burns night. We're going to have haggis served. We do the address to the haggis. And then we'll have a roast beef traditional dinner with haggis and then dancing."

The event will feature a buffet dinner, traditional toasts, silent auction, cash bar, dancing and live performances by Fraid Knot and The Cochrane Pipe Band.

Tickets for the event are $100 and Deans says "It sells out. It's been going on for 22-years. We have tons of people that come back year after year after year."
