The Cochrane Chaos junior female team is on a roll heading into a pair of road games this weekend in Calgary.

It's also been announced the Chaos will be hosting the  2022-2023 Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL) All-Star Game on Apr. 2.

It's the first time, the AJFHL all-star game will be held in Cochrane and features the top players in both the north and south divisions. There's also a skills challenge, which includes the fastest skater, goaltender, hardest shot, accurate shot, and top goalie.

At last year's skills challenge, Chaos Cassidy Brown was the top goalie, saving nine of 10 shots.

In regular season action, the Chaos evened the score with the Lethbridge Eagles with a 2-1 win on Oct. 23 and beat the Calgary Titans 3-1 last Friday.

With eight games under their belt, the Chaos are at the top of the south division and continue to duel with the Eagles for first. Cochrane has a 6-1-1 record with their only loss coming at the hands of the Eagles in early October.

Tomorrow, the Chaos are at the Great Plains Recreational Facility to face the Calgary Jags. Sunday they play the Calgary Titans at the East Calgary Twin Arena.

Their next home game isn't until Nov. 18.
