Pink Shirt Day has become a national movement that focuses on stopping bullying and spreading kindness. Today, Pink shirts were worn all around Cochrane, from business and schools to several non-profit organizations.

The Boys and Girls Club of Cochrane and Area is one of the biggest champions of Pink Shirt Day in town, often taking kids out to spread the message of anti-bullying around town and making sure everyone in Cochrane feels included.

Charlotte Harrison is a Program Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club of Cochrane and Area and she explains their plans for today. “We’ll be going around in the community making sure that everyone is kind. Going up to teachers at school or going up to their friends at other clubs and making someone’s day better.”
