The Cochrane Chaos junior female team extended their winning streak to six games last night with a 5-2 home ice win against the Central Alberta Amazons in Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL) action.

The Chaos dominated the Amazons from the early going, scoring three in the third and adding two in the last stanza.

Teah Workman had a two-point with a goal and assist and singles went to Summer Gibbons, Sarah Nusl, Carley Wlad, and Sarah Gaiser.

Amazon goalie Chantel Nault faced 49 shots, nearly three times the 19 shots on Cassidy Brown.

The Chaos are off for the balance of the weekend before a pair of road trip games against the Calgary Jags and Amazons on Nov. 27-28.

Twelve games into the season, Cochrane is 10-2 and has closed the gap on Lethbridge Eagles, the AJFHL south division leader. Their two losses came at the hands of the Lethbridge Eagles and Edmonton Wolves.
