Although Cochrane continues to see a significant amount of rainfall, the Town is reporting that the area has been downgraded to a flood watch from a flood warning.

Water levels continue to be closely monitored in Cochrane and crews are responding as required.

There is an accumulation of water on Glenbow Drive that residents need not be concerned about as the water accumulation on the roadway is flowing as it should be.

Cochrane Fire Services are out on the Bow River today (Tuesday, June 14) participating in a pre-planned rescue training exercise, there is no need for residents to be concerned.

Residents are being requested to stay away from the riverbanks for safety's sake.
