The Cochrane Eco Centre is reopening on June 2, 2020 with some modifications in place to keep the community and Eco Centre staff safe. 

Traffic will be limited to three vehicles allowed in at once and half of the drop off windows will be open. Only one person per vehicle will be allowed to handle the material with gloves. The reduced windows are in place to allow physical distancing between community members. 

The programs available as of June 2 include. 

· Cardboard, newspaper, newsprint, mixed paper

· Mixed rigid plastic containers

· Beverage containers

· Food waste

· Glass

· Mixed metal

· Branches, grass clippings, leaves

· E-Waste

· Used oil, oil filters, anti-freeze liquid

· Paint

· Propane tanks

· Textile/clothing donation

· Household Hazardous Waste

 Programs that will be temporarily unavailable during the reopening. 

• Book room (including batteries, light bulbs, etc.)

• Large appliances (fridges, washers, dryers, microwaves, etc.)

• Styrofoam

• Plastic film

• Bike exchange

The Cochrane Eco Centre will be open Tuesday June 2, and then Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am until 5pm.
