The Gens did a 360 last weekend.

According to Dan Gendur, Cochrane Generals, Head Coach, the boys played one of their best and worst games 24 hours a part.

"We played really well on Saturday, we basically did a full 360 in Banff, we played probably one of our worst games of the season. We just had no energy, guys got a little frustrated out there, and the score reflects that."

The Gen's mopped the floor with the High River Flyers winning 13-1 on Saturday, and losing the following day to the Banff Academy Bears 4-3.

Gendur says whether or not the boys were coming down from the high of a big win, it is no excuse for Sunday's performance.

"We have stressed all year that it is game by game, once you win a game you move on, and the focus is on the next game; that obviously didn't happen. That's actually two  games against Banff this year that we have played very poorly in, so we are going to make our adjustments for this weekend."

The Gens will play both games away this weekend, and while Gendur doesn't make predictions, he said the boys have discussed what didn't work well against Banff.

"We had a very good practice last night, the guys are working hard and made some adjustments, so we are hoping going into Thursday's practice we'll see the same kind of effort in preparation for the weekend."
