If you are looking to take the family out on a Friday night remember the Cochrane Legion's weekly Friday Night BBQ.  It happens EVERY Friday night from 6-7 pm at the Cochrane Legion,114 Fifth Ave. Volunteers serve up BBQ'd steaks and hamburgers plus all the fixings. Enjoy a steak dinner for $11 or hamburger dinner for $9. Betty Mazurik of the legion wishes to thank the volunteers who serve the food and do the barbequing every Friday and make the BBQ such a success.

The Cochrane Legion wishes to stress that everyone is welcome, including members, non-member and kids.The doors open at 4 pm at which time you can get your ticket for dinner at 6 pm.  

The weekly Friday night BBQ is an opportunity for you and your family to enjoy dinner out and also support your local legion.  Betty emphasizes that BBQ proceeds go directly to support the Cochrane Legion,"It's how we keep our doors open and our bills paid."
