The Cochrane Public Library has opened its doors and happily welcomes patrons back even though things have been altered a little. To begin with, they have shortened their hours. Now open Monday to Saturday from 10:30 to 6. Opening from 9:30 to 10:30 for more vulnerable patrons. 

Curbside service is still available for those who prefer that option.

Hand sanitizer and masks are available to all that enter. Masks are not mandatory.

Ten patrons at a time are allowed in with a 30 minute time limit. 

Furniture and computers have been moved to allow for social distancing. 

With regards to memberships, any that expired in April, May and June have automatically been extended to August. 

The Cochrane Public Library is still offering free library memerships and membership renewals. until September 1st with the form still available on their website.

Cochrane kids will be happy to know that the summer reading program will be available online but there will also be reading incentives provided by the library. There will be reading tracking sheets available for pickup and pictures of prizes for avid readers can be viewed on the library's website.

Like all things, the Cochrane Public Library has adapted to the new normal of COVID 19 and are happily open for business.
