Cochrane RCMP is asking drivers to stay off the roads unless completely necessary. The rainfall earlier today mixed with freezing temperatures and snow have made road conditions extremely poor. Collisions have been reported on Highway 8 south of Cochrane and several vehicles have hit the ditch along Highway 1a east of town.
