The Cochrane RCMP is requesting public assistance to locate the owners of some recovered items.

On September 19, 2020, the Cochrane RCMP responded to a break and enter call at a Husky Oil site in Mclean Creek, at which time numerous power tools were recovered.

Corporal Susan Richter with the Cochrane RCMP says that they believe the tools were stolen and the rightful owners yet to be identified.

"We've had these in our control for some time now and we haven't been able to identify the owners," says Richter. "They might be generic but we're just asking people to take a look at them. Maybe they can identify something like the bag that they were in or just the collection of tools that were together. If they can, we would like them to call the Cochrane detachment and we'll try to return them to the owners."

If you have any information regarding this property, you are asked to contact Cochrane RCMP (403) 851-8000, and if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers.
