The Cochrane and Area Community Walk of the Cross will continue to bring together hundreds of people on Good Friday to reflect upon the journey of Jesus Christ from the time he entered Jerusalem until his crucifixion.

Tomorrow (Apr. 7), people are invited to join the walk that last year included 12 stations through the Historic Downtown.

It begins at the field across from the Homestead Building, (intersection of 1st Ave and 2nd St.) and heads south along 2nd St. to 1st St. W., known as main street to some. It then carries on west to the community cenotaph next to the Royal Canadian Legion. It's anticipated to finish just after 11 a.m.

At each station, scripture is read and the group prays together. At its conclusion, a cross will be erected near the cenotaph and will stay there until Sunday.
