Bow Valley High School in Cochrane is reporting its first case of COVID-19.

In a letter sent home to parents yesterday (March 1, 2021),  Principal of  Bow Valley High School, Jim Reilly states that an individual has tested positive for COVID-19, and the school is working closely with Alberta Health Services (AHS) to ensure that the necessary precautions are taken to protect students and staff.

Anyone who would have likely been in close contact with the individual who tested positive has been provided additional information about mandatory isolation and will be contacted directly by AHS in the days ahead.

Additional cleaning of the facility has already taken place and Bow Valley High School will remain open for in-class learning.

Reilly is reminding families to refer to the 'Should I go to School Today Flow Chart' before heading out the door each day. You can find the flow chart here.
