The Cochrane RCMP are on the scene of a traffic accident involving a car and a construction worker. A white sedan hit the construction site flagger at 6:25 p.m. on August 22, 2022, at the intersection of Highway 1A and Centre Avenue in Cochrane.
A collision analyst from the RCMP is currently on scene along with emergency medical personnel.
Both directions of traffic on Centre Avenue and Highway 1A has been delayed. An alternative route should be sought by drivers.
Anyone with information about the collision or dashboard camera footage of it is asked to get in touch with the Cochrane RCMP.
Currently, the sedan's driver is being held by police.
