A teenager has died in a single vehicle collision. 

RCMP in Sundre got an SOS signal from a GPS device on Highway 734 in Bighorn County on July 17 at approximately 12:46 p.m.

Mounties believe a pickup truck was heading downhill, southbound on Highway 734 on a winding stretch of the road when it lost control, struck an embankment and rolled. 

A 17-year old passenger was declared dead at the scene.

The 18-year old driver and an 18-year old passenger were taken to hospital via EMS and released shortly after.

Members from the Cremona Fire Department and EMS also responded to the collision.

RCMP do not believe alcohol, drugs or speed were factors in this crash. 

No names will be released.
