In her daily report on Tuesday, Dr Deena Hinshaw, aside from delivering the latest numbers reminded Albertan's to remain vigilant.

"The virus is still with us and we need to continue to take it very seriously. We can think of this virus as a tidal wave that could have swept in an left a trail of destruction behind. This didn't happen because we collectively formed a barrier by our actions to prevent the full force of this wave from striking us. As we start to change our behaviour in planning to reopen segments of our society, we need to remember that the potential force of that tidal wave is still there."

Dr Hinshaw reported 187 new cases of COVID 19 in the province bringing the total to 3095. Sadly, she had to report 2 more deaths due to the virus bringing that total to 61.

Cochrane/Springbank area has 15 cases in total, 3 active, 12 recovered and 0 deaths.

Alberta has seen 1273 recovered cases.
