Cochrane's Dillon Dube now has two goals since returning to the Calgary Flames lineup seven games ago.

Dube scored the opening goal of the Flames 3-1 win last night in front of a hometown crowd. He grabbed a bouncing puck off a faceoff won by Milan Lucic to put a backhand past Senators netminder Marcus Hogberg.

In a post-game interview, Dube says getting the first goal helps to build momentum. Plus, it's good for his line, which includes Lucic and Derek Ryan.

"We had a good first period and a good game," says Dube. "It was tight out there."

"It's really good for our line, and we just need to keep going,"

Elias Lindholm scored the other two goals in the Flames 3-1 win.

Dube opened the scoring for the Flames in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on the road, Nov. 25.

The Flames now have a few days to prepare for their Dec. 5 home game against the Buffalo Sabres.
