A loose puck in front of goaltender Thatcher Demko was touched last by Cochrane's Dillon Dube to put the Flames ahead and set the pace for a 4-3 overtime win against the Vancouver Canucks.

Once again the Flames fell behind 2-0 in the early goings but battled back to take a 3-2 lead by the end of the second on Dube's goal.

Dube didn't at first realize he would get credit for the goal but believes it was a payoff for pressure being applied by his line all night.

"Our line was forechecking really hard tonight and we got rewarded for it, so credit to both those guys tonight for playing really hard and bringing the game we needed, and we got results from keeping it simple, in that aspect."

The Canucks forced overtime with a third-period goal. Johnny Gaudreau made short order of it, scoring just 23 seconds into extra time for the Flames.

The Flames host the Canucks Wednesday night at the Dome in the final of a four-game series.
