Pancakes, ponies, a parade and live music are just some of the things you can look forward to at Bragg Creek Days later this month.

Organizer, Ramonde Maxfield said the fun-filled day is about celebrating the community.

"We're pretty excited to have our live stage, that will run from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. We'll also have our parade which is our 55th parade actually."

Headlining on the Calgary Stampede stage this year is Allen Christie. There will be live music throughout the day with three other bands.

Redwood Meadows Emergency Services has been named Parade Marshall this year.

The parade starts at 10:30 a.m.

But Maxfield said the day begins with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m.

"We've got a local market that you can shop at, we've got free pony and horse rides down the road at The Trading Post. It's just really the community of Bragg Creek and Redwood Meadows, coming out and hanging out together. Outdoor food, beer gardens and lots of music."

Children can enjoy the pony and horse rides that will go from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
