Work has wrapped on replacing a 69-year-old bridge at the intersection of Ranche Road and Fourth Avenue north.

“The new bridge provides a safe and accessible route for motorists and pedestrians, improving connectivity in our community” details a social media post by The Town Of Cochrane.

Construction on replacing the original bridge began in early July after it was deemed past its service time.

Motorists are advised that the bridge can not be used for access to Sunset Ridge.
