Three days of free rides are being offered to coincide with the launch of the regional transit service between Cochrane and Calgary on Aug. 29.

Monday at 9 a.m., the ribbon is being cut to officially launch the enhanced service that's being offered by the town in partnership with Southland Tranportations' On-It service.

Partners of the service's development will be participating, including representatives of Southland Transportation and the town.

Offered is a transportation to link to Calgary's Brentwood LRT Station/University seven times a day from Monday to Friday and to downtown Calgary four times a day, also from Monday to Friday.

The On-It bus departs and arrives in Cochrane at the new Cochrane Station, 403 Railway St. W.
