Following a record breaking season, the Cochrane Generals have started off strong.

Playing their first exhibition game on Saturday, September 10, the Generals had a fierce presence on the ice, crushing the Strathmore Wheatland Kings 7-1.

The second exhibition game on Sunday, September 11, went just as smoothly for Cochrane, where they came out on top with a 6-1 win.

The team is already proving they are a strong contender in the Heritage Junior Hockey League as they look forward to another attempt at the HJHL championship after narrowly losing the title to the Mountainview Colts last season.

The Generals will make their regular season debut on Friday, September 16, taking on the High River Flyers. Puck drop is at 8:15 p.m. at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.
