After a very successful season the Cochrane High School's Junior Girls' Volleyball Team is focusing on the big win on home court.

On Novemeber 9 at 6 P.M. the team will match up against rival Bow Valley High and the winner will take Gold in the Divisional Title.

Janette Solecki, Cochrane High, Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach, says Bow Valley has given them a run for their money during the season.

"They're one of the stronger teams in our division. In league play they gave us a good match for sure; we ended up winning three sets straight but each set was close and good competition."

The team is feeling good and with a few practices in, the girls are excited to take on the challenge.

The Cochrane High Senior girls on the other hand have been having a rough go as of late.

Esther Sieben, Senior Varsity Girls' Volleyball Coach, says they were playing really well but recently the team has been plagued by injuries.

"We have a concussion, our setter is out with a sore back. We had a great season we were hoping to be in that Gold medal match but that was not in our cards this year with the injuries."

The Cochrane Junior Girls will battle it out at home for Bronze against Bow Valley, Novemeber 9, at 7:30 P.M.
