The Bow Valley Grizzlies are heading to the Calgary Rugby Union Division 2 City Finals after conquering the Calgary Canucks in Semi-finals 59-3.

They will take on the Calgary Saracens for the City title, Grizzlies Division 2 Coach Tyler Hawes says it should be a good match.

"The Saracens actually finished tied with us for first place, but we won the head to head tiebreaker against them," he says. "It should be interesting to see how it goes on Saturday, they got a pretty big bunch of boys and we'll see how our boys get on."

The Grizzlies had their playoff run cut short last year, losing the Semi-finals to the Calgary Hornets, Hawes shares the boys are excited to have made it to City Finals this year.

"The boys are all really excited, it's just another step for them to take, they've been preparing well all last week and it showed on the test on Saturday. I think most of its all about preparation, if you get that right then the games are easy."

Whoever wins at City Finals this Saturday Sept. 24, will take on Edmonton's City Champions in a battle of Alberta.
