A hotel that is the cornerstone of Cochrane's Historic Downtown is on the market.

Mark and Michelle Horton have put the Rockyview Hotel, 304-1st W., on the market with a list price of $2.9 million.

It's being offered as a turnkey business that includes 15 rooms, all offering a true Western experience, dining room, 186-seat bar and grill, and outdoor patio.

Originally called the Cochrane Hotel, it was built in 1904. Over the years, it had a few other names and ups and downs before being restored and renamed the Rockyview Hotel in 1989.
