Bragg Creek's Dylan 'Hollywood' Holloway has a puck he will cherish forever.

Holloway scored his first regular-season goal as an Edmonton Oiler in his first appearance at Madison Square Gardens on Nov. 26.

"It took me a little bit, but I'm happy to get the first one out of the way," said Holloway in a post-game interview. "It was a great all-around effort by my line and it was really cool that it went in."

After falling behind 3-0 after two, the Oilers surged back in the third for a 4-3 win over the New York Ranger. Holloway's goal tied the game 3-3 midway through the final stanza, and Leon Draisatls scored the winner on a powerplay with two minutes remaining.

"I've just been trying to establish myself, trying to fulfill a role and I think tonight felt pretty good. Obviously, playing at MSG for the first time is a pretty special feeling, so I got a little adrenalin going into the game but that was a good game. I felt the team played well, even though we didn't score in the first two periods, and it kind of just all came together in the third."

Holloway came into Saturday’s game with two assists through his first 16 games as an Oiler.

Tonight, the Oilers host the Florida Panthers on Indigenous Celebration Night.
