The Ibana East has become the first to advance to the championship game of the Alex Tumang Basketball Tournament.
They won the hotly contested opening game of the showcase on Mar. 13 against Cochrane North, 64-56 win.
Reu Nuique, of Ibana, was named player of the game.
Next up is a game between Cochrane South and West on Mar. 20. The winner of that game will play Ibana for the championship at the tournament finale on Mar. 27.
The losers of both games will also play that night to determine third and fourth place.
