Some of the coolest cars around will gather at the Spring Hill RV Park this Saturday, Aug 20. for its tenth Annual Charity Show and Shine.

The event will raise money for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation by hosting a barbeque, and donating all registration fees from the cars that come to the RV Park.

Sean Veraart, Owner of Spring Hill RV Park, says supporting the foundation was an easy choice.

"We have children, and we've had to use the facility," he says. "It's just such an amazing facility, and an amazing charity to donate to."

Veraart adds he's hoping for a good turnout, and good weather, as last years event raised about half as much as it usually does.

"Last year was one of our lowest years because the weather didn't cooperate, so we had to move the show, a lot less people came. We raised about $2500 but usually we raise over $5000."

He shares the day is meant for the whole family, with live music, 50/50 draws, door prizes, a special $1000 cash prize draw for cars registered to celebrate its tenth anniversary, and of course, tons of awesome automobiles.

"We get everything from modern calls, to the old Model T's, it's a wide range, we get some really really beautiful cars that come out."

Registration for the Show and Shine begins at 9 a.m., the show will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
