The next generation of rodeo stars are gearing up for the 22nd annual Calgary Stampede 4-H Rodeo on the grounds this weekend.

The fun kicks off with clinics like riding, roping and goat tying taught by industry experts.

On Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 competitors will put their skills to the test in the cow riding, barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying events.

The rodeo's open to the public to take in for free starting at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in the Nutrien Western Events Centre, and the excitement continues on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
