Another fast food giant is taking a crack at serving up Beyond Meat to some of its customers.
McDonald's says starting Monday, September 30, it will test a new plant-based burger known as the PLT (plant, lettuce and tomato) in 28 restaurants southwestern Ontario.
Shares in Beyond Meat jumped following the announcement.
The pilot project is set to last until the end of the year.
