In less than a week Canadians will take to the polls to cast their ballots in the upcoming Federal election.

If you're still unsure where your vote should land you can learn more about the candidates at a forum being held in Cochrane tonight.

The All Candidates Forum is being hosted by The Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce. It's an opportunity to meet with all nine candidates and listen to the key points of their platform.

The Chamber has invited all running candidates to attend, including:

  • Blake Richards, Conservative Party
  • Aidan Blum, Green Party
  • Tariq Elnaga, Maverick Party
  • David Gamble, Liberal Party
  • Caroline O'Driscoll, Independent
  • Ron Voss, Independent
  • Derek Sloan, Independent
  • Nadine Wellwood, People's Party
  • Sarah Zagoda, NDP

Each candidate will be given 1 1/2 minutes to talk about their campaign with the majority of the one-hour event allocated for questions from constituents.

If you do have a specific question for any of the candidates you are asked to submit it prior to tonight's event, and you can do so here.

The All Candidates Forum will be moderated by Chamber President Ozzie Sawicki and runs from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight, September 14.

The event is taking place at the RockPointe Church at 255024 Lochend Road, just east of town adjacent to Hwy. 1A.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
