The Cochrane Public Library did some brainstorming over the summer to find a way to help students during this unprecedented year and discovered a program they are very happy to offer to patrons.

The staff at the library is very excited about a new online program being offered called BrainFuse which is an on-demand, anytime, anywhere eLearning for all ages and levels.

Brainfuse HelpNow offers personalized homework help in core subjects (math, reading, writing, science, and social studies) including SAT preparation.

Community Outreach and Program Librarian, Jessie Pepin says, "It is a wonderful program that allows for both static learning, so you can go in and do your own learning independently, but it also provides live tutors who are familiar with the Alberta curriculum. Which was one of the key reasons why we chose this program over some of the other options."

Pepin says, "It is such a wonderful program, you can create flashcards in it. There's a lot of adult settings that you can do. You can study for your Canadian citizenship, you can study for your GED, some of the larger entrance exams like your GRE, or your GMAT, or your ALSAT."

The eResource will be helpful in meeting the needs of all learners whether younger, older, physically in school, virtually in school, or homeschooling.

All you need is a Cochrane Library card and once you have that, you can access the program either at the library or at home.
