Rocky View Schools’ Superintendent, Greg Luterbach, issued a statement Thursday regarding the appointment of the new principal for Fireside School in Cochrane.  Effective August 2020, Dave Banderk will take over the helm of the school. Banderk has been with RVS since 2001 teaching in Airdrie and Chestermere and joined the administration team in 2010. He has been principal at Kathyrn School since 2017.

The current Fireside School principal Thomas Elbel has been selected to lead the Ecole Airdrie Middle School.
