The Cochrane Humane Society has hundreds of animals available for adoption but right now they're looking to find Nicky a forever home.

Acting Executive Director Janine Rossler says this pup along with her siblings are a "perfect mix"

Rossler says "A little bit of everything probably. It's hard to tell without doing DNA tests and sometimes what they look like can only be a tiny percentage of the breed that's actually in there so we have stopped trying to guess what is in there and go more on personality. We do sell the DNA kits which is always fun to do but I like just calling them the perfect mix."

Rossler says right now they have 254 animals in their care, which is not unusual. That equates to 130 cats, 117 dogs and seven small animals.

Nicky's shots are up to date and she was just spayed and is ready for adoption.
