There are now five active cases of COVID-19 in Cochrane and 12 in Rocky View County.

Provincewide, there are 1,596 active cases and 1,030,261 Albertans have been tested.

Sixty-four people are hospitalized, with 12 in intensive care units.

The total number of cases increased by 173 on September 30.

There were three more deaths reported, including one today at the Foothills Medical Centre. There have now been 270 death attributed to the coronavirus.

In her report today, Dr. Hinshaw provided some good news for parents anxiously awaiting their children's COVID-19 test results.
Starting today, Alberta parents and guaradians can access COVID-19 results online through My Health Records.

"Parents will be able to logged in, and see their children's results as soon as they are available anytime, day or night. This information is accessible to parents and guardians of any child under the age of 18."

They'll also be able to print a hard copy of the results.
