Questions can now be submitted for Mayor Jeff Genung and interim CAO Drew Hyndman's next Facebook Live broadcast on Monday, Mar. 23.

The broadcast has been pushed back to 5 p.m., one and a half hours later than the first one on Mar. 16.

The inaugural presentation saw over 500 people view it live, and more afterward.

Mayor Jeff Genung says they will continue to be held every Monday to provide a COVID update and answer questions.

"I was happy to do that and to take questions live from people. Trying to keep everybody in the know is super important to all of us at this."

Questions will also be welcomed during the broadcast.

Mayor Genung has now prepared two additional videos on positive action being taken.

Last week, he released one on Save-on-Foods opening early exclusively for seniors.

"Today, I shot another one. I haven't posted it yet, but I was at Mark's No Frills. They're doing similar things. I talked to Mark (Johnston) a little bit about what they're doing in their store to help people, and some of the things he's seeing."

"He's had customers volunteer to wipe down shopping carts, and helping seniors with groceries."

Advanced questions for the Mar. 23 presentation can be submitted to the town via Facebook.
