UPDATE: Cochrane Fire Services water rescue crew has located a body in the Bow River, approximately one kilometre below Gleneagles.

RCMP will be investigating.

First responders are investigating a report of a body floating down the Bow River.

The call came in shortly after 2 p.m. on July 29.

"We got a call from a civilian who said they believe they saw a body floating by in the river, so RCMP and Fire Dept. are putting riverboats in the water to conduct a search," says Cpl. Troy Savinkoff.
